Helen is an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor and approved Green Deal Advisor who has a wealth of experience in providing residential property and letting services. As well as producing EPCs and Green Deal Advice Reports, Helens knowledge of government energy efficiency incentives means she is always in demand for expert advice on the requirements for the various schemes and how the application process should be approached.

Mike is an accredited Non-Domestic Energy Assessor who deals with our non-domestic clients. Prior to joining York EPC Mike held various senior positions in the construction support services industry so is well versed in dealing with the full spectrum of non-domestic buildings. This proves invaluable when carrying out non-domestic EPCs or when producing SBEM calculations at design or build stage to ensure a building meets planning regulations.

Accreditation, Certification, Safety & Security

Our assessors are trained and certified by Elmhurst Energy Systems, the UK’s most widely recognised independent organisation for accreditation and certification of Energy Assessors and Green Deal Advisors.

Mike Pirozek is certified in Safety Management by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and is responsible for risk assessments and for ensuring PPE is worn on site when appropriate.

For your peace of mind York EPC holds comprehensive public and private liability insurance and our assessors have undertaken a full disclosure with the police and hold a Criminal Records Bureau certificate (commonly known as a CRB check).
